Week 2: Base Design and Research

This week we began the research that will be the base of the entire project and design for the structure. We began general research into the structural design, building materials, costs, and the beginning design of the structure. Research has begun into topics that are relevant to the project and general research to gain depth and understanding of what we are creating. As a group we began research into the large disasters of the past decade and what was done to recover from those disasters. We sketched the initial design of the structure The next couple weeks will be dedicated to research to create our pitch of the project.
